New for the 2007 Tour was the first ever Urban Ride 07 series. The Urban Ride 07 is part of the Ride Freesport group of events such as the Verbier Ride, Saas-Fee Ride and London Ride. The Urban Ride 07 series will host a mini freestyle ski comp at each venue for pros and amateurs. Next year will see the growth of the Urban Ride 08 series into a British Freeskiing Tour that will be specifically for Freeskiers to compete. “The wave of Freeskiing is growing at a super fast rate and it's now time for the Urban Ride to become an event by the Freeskiers for the Freeskiers and further develop Freeski Britain”, say the event organisers.
